Liquid hand diswashing detergent composition

A liquid hand dishwashing detergent composition comprising:

• (a) about 0.1% to about 50% by weight of a humectant,
• (b) about 0.005% to about 3% by weight of an active pearlescent agent,
• (c) about 4% to about 40% by weight of an anionic surfactant system with no more than 5% by weight of a sulfonate surfactant, and
• (d) about 0.01% to about 1% of a rheology modifier,
• wherein the humectant is selected from the group consisting of sorbitol, glycerol, sodium lactate, urea and mixtures thereof and wherein the anionic surfactant system has a combined ethoxylation degree of less than about 5, wherein the rheology modifier is micro fibril cellulose and a co-agent selected from the group consisting of carboxymethyl cellulose, xanthan gum, guar gum and mixtures thereof.
