Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for producing marine ostracod crustacean luciferin or a derivative thereof represented by a general formula (4), characterized by reacting a compound represented by a general formula (2) with a compound represented by a general formula (3): wherein R1, R2, R3, R5, Y1 and Z1 are the same as defined in the specification.
Claims5
A marine ostracod crustacean luciferin stabilization composition comprising marine ostracod crustacean luciferin or an analog thereof, an ascorbic acid or a salt thereof, and a sulfite salt.
A method for storing marine ostracod crustacean luciferin or an analog thereof characterized by storing marine ostracod crustacean luciferin or the analog thereof in the presence of an ascorbic acid or a salt thereof, and a sulfite salt.
A kit for using in a marine ostracod crustacean biological luminescence system, comprising marine ostracod crustacean luciferin or an analog thereof, an ascorbic acid or a salt thereof, and a sulfite salt.
A method for reducing a background in a marine ostracod crustacean biological luminescence system comprising administering an ascorbic acid or a salt thereof and a sulfite salt to the marine ostracod crustacean biological luminescence system.
A method for measuring biological luminescence in a marine ostracod crustacean system characterized in that the biological luminescence is measured in the presence of an ascorbic acid or a salt thereof and a sulfite salt in a biological luminescence measurement system of marine ostracod crustacean luciferase and marine ostracod crustacean luciferin or an analog thereof.
