Abstract
The invention relates to a radiation-curable laminated sheet or film comprising at least one substrate layer and a top layer which comprises a radiation-curable material having a glass transition temperature below 50° C. and having a high double bond density, processes for the production thereof and the use thereof.
Claims18
A radiation-curable laminated sheet or film comprising at least one substrate layer and a top layer comprising a radiation-curable material which comprises a binder having a glass transition temperature below 20° C. and a content of ethylenically unsaturated groups of more than 2 mol/kg of binder, wherein a color-imparting intermediate layer is present between the substrate layer and the top layer,
- wherein said radiation-curable laminated sheet or film has an extensibility of at least 100%, based on an unextended state at 140° C. at a thickness of 30 μm.
A laminated shaped article obtainable by a process comprising:
- laminating a shaped article with a radiation-curable laminated sheet or film thereby forming a radiation-curable laminated sheet or film, wherein said radiation-curable laminated sheet or film comprises at least one substrate layer and a top layer, and wherein the top layer comprising a radiation-curable material which comprises a binder having a glass transition temperature below 20° C. and a content of ethylenically unsaturated groups of more than 2 mol/kg of binder;
- thermoforming the radiation-curable laminated sheet or film in a thermoforming mold;
- spraying the back of the substrate layer with a plastics material;
- and
- radiation curing the top layer either after the thermoforming or after the spraying,
- wherein said radiation-curable laminated sheet or film has an extensibility of at least 100%, based on an unextended state at 140° C. at a thickness of 30 μm.
