Abstract
This invention is about a material which provides to observe all colors necessary for display technologies in a very small potential range. The material is a derivative of benzotriazole containing donor acceptor type conducting polymer which is soluble, fluorescent and can be used in LEDs, solar cells, electrochromic devices, smart windows and many other technologies.
Claims1
A conducting polymer, consisting of repeating unit which is selected from the compounds of general Formula I
- in which r1 is selected from group consisting of CnH2n+1, CnH2nx wherein x is F, Br, CI, I, OH, SO3H, SO3Na, OTs, OCnH2n+1, O(CnH2nO)m, phenyl, N-alkyl carbazole, and N-alkyl pyrrole;
- d is selected from the following group
- where r2 is selected from group consisting of hydrogen, CnH2n+1, CnH2nx wherein x is F, Br, CI, I, OH, SO3H, SO3Na, OTs COH, COOH, and OCnH2n+1;
- which shows red, green, blue colors as well as black and transparent and is both p and n type dopable and soluble in chloroform, dichloromethane, nitromethane, chlorobenzene, dichlorobenzene, tetrahydrofuran, dimethylformamide, dimethylsulfoxide or diethyl ether, wherein n is an integer ≧0 and m is an integer >0.
