Compounds which have activity at M1receptor and their uses in medicine

A compound of formula (I) or a salt thereof:

• wherein:
• R4, R5 and R6 are independently selected from hydrogen, halogen, C1-6alkyl, C1-6alkyl substituted with one or more fluorine atoms, cyano, C1-6alkylsulfonyl, C1-6alkylsulfonyl substituted with one or more fluorine atoms, C3-6cycloalkyl, C1-6alkoxy, C1-6alkoxy substituted with one or more fluorine atoms, C1-6alkanoyl, —C(═NOC1-6alkyl)C1-6alkyl, —C1-6alkoxyC1-6alkyl, and —C(O)NRaRb;
• Ra and Rb are each independently H or C1-6 alkyl, or together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached form a five or six membered ring;
• ring A represents a benzene ring, or a 6-membered aromatic heterocylic ring containing one or two nitrogen atoms;
• R is selected from C3-6cycloalkylC1-4-alkyl, C1-6alkyloxyC1-6alkyl, C3-6cycloalkyloxyC1-6alkyl and C3-6cycloalkylC1-4alkyloxyC1-6alkyl, wherein any alkyl or cycloalkyl group is optionally substituted by one or more fluorine atoms;
• Q is selected from hydrogen and C1-6alkyl;
• and
• Y is selected from O, S, CF2, CH2CH2, OCH2, and CH2O.
