Abstract
A form of crystalline (2S)-2-hydroxy-3-methyl-N-[(1S)-1-methyl-2-oxo-2-[[(1S)-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-3-methyl-2-oxo-1H-3-benzazepin-1-yl]amino]ethyl]-butanamide anhydrate Form II having improved flowability and drug-loading properties and a process for its preparation.

Crystalline (2S)-2-hydroxy-3-methyl-N-[(1S)-1-methyl-2-oxo-2-[[(1S)-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-3-methyl-2-oxo-1H-3-benzazepin-1-yl]amino]ethyl]-butanamide anhydrate Form II characterized by a crystal habit having an average length-to-width aspect ratio of less than or equal to 5:1 and a particle size distribution wherein the x10 is less than 50 μm, the x50 is less than 100 μm, and the x90 is less than 250 μm.
