Abstract
A method and a kit for detecting an antibody to Avibacterium paragallinarum are provided. A method for detecting an antibody to Avibacterium paragallinarum which comprises detecting an antibody induced by an outer-membrane protein of Avibacterium paragallinarum serotype A and/or serotype C by ELISA with a solid phase to which a peptide consisting of an amino acid sequence of non-homologous region of said outer-membrane protein or a portion thereof is immobilized, and a detection kit used for said method.
Claims18
A method for detecting an antibody to Avibacterium paragallinarum, wherein said method comprises measuring an antibody in a sample by reacting the sample with at least one antigen of Peptide A or Peptide B below:
- wherein Peptide A consists of a portion of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 1, consists of a peptide chain of 6 or more amino acid residues, and does not include amino acids Nos. 243-273 of SEQ ID NO:
- 1;
- and
- wherein Peptide B consists of a portion of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 2, consists of a peptide chain of 6 or more amino acid residues, and does not include amino acids Nos. 38-68 of SEQ ID NO:
- 2.
A kit for measurement of an antibody to Avibacterium paragallinarum in a sample, comprising at least one antigen selected from the group consisting of Peptide A and Peptide B:
- wherein Peptide A consists of a portion of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 1, consists of a peptide chain of 6 or more amino acid residues, and does not include amino acids Nos. 243-273 of SEQ ID NO:
- 1;
- and
- wherein Peptide B consists of a portion of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 2, consists of a peptide chain of 6 or more amino acid residues, and does not include amino acids Nos. 38-68 of SEQ ID NO:
- 2.
