Abstract
The present invention is directed to a process for preparing CHA-type molecular sieves using at least one cationic 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane-based structure directing agent in conjunction with at least one cationic cyclic nitrogen-containing structure directing agent.
Claims18
A method of preparing a CHA-type molecular sieve comprising contacting under crystallization conditions:
- (1) at least one source of at least one oxide of a tetravalent element;
- (2) optionally, one or more sources of one or more oxides selected from the group consisting of oxides of trivalent elements, pentavalent elements, and mixtures thereof;
- (3) hydroxide ions;
- (4) at least one 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane-based cation;
- and (5) at least one cyclic nitrogen-containing cation.
