Abstract
The present invention relates to a SCCA1/SCCA2 fusion protein; plasmid containing the same; antibodies of said fusion protein; methods for detecting said protein; methods for diagnosing the presence or absence of SCC by determining the presence of SCCA1/SCCA2 fusion protein.
Claims10
An isolated fusion transcript comprising exons from two different genes, wherein the fusion transcript is encoded by
- exons 2-7 of the Squamous Cell Carcinoma Antigen 1 (SCCA1) gene fused to exon 8 of the Squamous Cell Carcinoma Antigen 2 (SCCA2) gene, having the order exons 2-7 of SCCA1 followed by exon 8 of SCCA2, or
- exons 2-7 of the SCCA2 gene fused to exon 8 of the SCCA1 gene, having the order exons 2-7 of SCCA2 followed by exon 8 of SCCA1.
An isolated polynucleotide comprising the sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:
- 11.
An isolated polynucleotide comprising exons 2-7 of SCCA2 fused to the exon 8 of SCCA1.
A plasmid comprising the polynucleotide of exons 2-7 of the SCCA1 gene fused to the polynucleotide of exon 8 of SCCA2 gene.
