Abstract
The present invention relates to a process for sulfurizing a hydrocarbon treatment catalyst, comprising: at least a first step of depositing, on the surface of the catalyst, one or more sulfurization auxiliaries of formula (I): and at least a second step of placing the catalyst in contact with a sulfur-containing gaseous mixture containing hydrogen and a sulfur compound.
Claims21
A process for sulfurizing a hydrocarbon treatment catalyst, comprising:
- at least a first step of depositing, on the surface of the catalyst, one or more sulfurization auxiliaries of formula (I):
- in which:
- R1 denotes a hydrogen atom or a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group comprising from 1 to 30 carbon atoms,
- R2 denotes a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated divalent hydrocarbon-based group comprising from 1 to 8 carbon atoms, and which is substituted with one or more groups selected from the group of —OH, —OR, —NH2, —NHR, and —NRR′, wherein R and R′ are alkyl groups comprising from 1 to 4 carbon atoms;
- R3 denotes a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group comprising from 1 to 30 carbon atoms;
- and
- at least a second step of placing the catalyst in contact with a sulfur-containing gaseous mixture containing hydrogen and a sulfur compound other than the sulfurization auxiliary of formula (I).
A method of improving the performance of sulfurizing catalysts for treating hydrocarbons, comprising a step of depositing on the sulfurizing catalysts one or more sulfurization auxiliaries of formula (I):
- in which:
- R1 denotes a hydrogen atom or a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group, comprising from 1 to 30 carbon atoms,
- R2 denotes a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated divalent hydrocarbon-based group, comprising from 1 to 8 carbon atoms, and which is substituted with one or more groups selected from the group of —OH, —OR, —NH2, —NHR, and —NRR′, wherein R and R′ are alkyl groups comprising from 1 to 4 carbon atoms;
- R3 denotes a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon based group, comprising from 1 to 30 carbon atoms.
