Filter unit panel and method of manufacturing the same

A method of manufacturing a filter unit panel including a plurality filter units that are joined together, the method comprising the steps of:

• preparing a plurality of filter units, each including a filter medium and a frame body that supports the filter medium, the frame body being a resin member having an upper surface, a lower surface, an inner peripheral surface, and an outer peripheral surface, the upper surface being located upstream of the filter medium with respect to a flow of air passing through the filter medium and facing an upstream side of the air flow, the lower surface being located downstream of the filter medium with respect to the flow of the air passing through the filter medium and facing a downstream side of the air flow, and the inner peripheral surface supporting the filter medium;
• and
• disposing the plurality of filter units so that the outer peripheral surfaces of the adjacent filter units are partially in contact with each other but at least a part of the upper surfaces and/or the lower surfaces of the adjacent filter units are spaced apart from each other, and then melting a bonding resin so as to cause the melted bonding resin to flow into a gap between the spaced upper surfaces and/or a gap between the spaced lower surfaces and to cure.
