Abstract
A base station device includes radio equipment (RE) having a first port and a second port, a first radio equipment controller (REC) supporting a first radio access technology, and a second REC supporting a second radio access technology. The first REC is configured to transmit first downlink data corresponding to the first radio access technology to the RE, and to receive first uplink data corresponding to the first radio access technology from the RE. The second REC is configured to transmit second downlink data corresponding to the second radio access technology to the RE, and to receive second uplink data corresponding to the second radio access technology from the RE.
Claims14
A base station device, comprising:
- a radio equipment (RE) having a first port and a second port;
- a first radio equipment controller (REC) supporting a first radio access technology;
- and
- a second REC supporting a second radio access technology,
- wherein the first REC is configured to:
- transmit first downlink data corresponding to the first radio access technology to the RE,
- receive first uplink data corresponding to the first radio access technology from the RE,
- determine, according to slot ID information or radio access technology information received from a link, that the first radio access technology is different from the second radio access technology;
- determine that a mode of the link is a dual-star link mode according to a hop number received from the link;
- and
- send Layer 1 (L1), information to the RE, wherein the L1 information includes indication information of the dual-star link mode,
- wherein the second REC is configured to transmit second downlink data corresponding to the second radio access technology to the RE, and receive second uplink data corresponding to the second radio access technology from the RE.
A method for data transmission, comprising:
- transmitting, by a first radio equipment controller (REC) of a base station, first downlink data corresponding to a first radio access technology supported by the first REC to a radio equipment (RE) having a first port and second port of the base station;
- receiving, by the first REC, first uplink data corresponding to the first radio access technology from the RE;
- transmitting, by a second REC of the base station, second downlink data corresponding to a second radio access technology supported by the second REC to the RE;
- and
- receiving, by the second REC, second uplink data corresponding to the second radio access technology from the RE;
- determining, by the first REC, that the first radio access technology is different from the second radio access technology according to a slot ID or radio access technology information received from a link;
- determining, by the first REC, that the link is in a dual-star link mode according to a received hop number;
- and
- sending, by the first REC, Layer 1 (L1) information to the RE, wherein the L1 information includes indication information indicating the dual-star link.
