Abstract
Disclosed is a photoelectric converter. According to the present invention, a photoelectric converter comprises a plurality of substrates, which are located adjacent to each other and on which a plurality of photoelectric conversion devices are two-dimensionally arranged, either scan circuits or detection circuits, at least, that are arranged on two opposing sides of the photoelectric converter, whereby scanning directions either from the scan circuits or from the detection circuits, which are arranged on the two opposing sides, are capable of being set so as to be performed in like directions.
Claims16
A photoelectric converter comprising:
- an array of photoelectric conversion devices arranged two dimensionally;
- and
- a detection circuit for detecting a signal outputted from said array, said detection circuit comprising first IC chips provided on one side of said array and second IC chips provided on the other side of said array opposed to the one side, wherein said first and second IC chips are constructed to be driven bi-directionally and have the same circuit structure respectively,
- wherein driving directions of said first and second IC chips are set in accordance with input of a first common input signal into said first IC chips and input of a second common input signal into said second IC chips, so that the first and second IC chips detect the signals outputted from the array in the same direction.
A radiation image pick-up device comprising:
- an array of conversion devices arranged two dimensionally, each conversion device for receiving an incident radiation and generating an electric signal based on the incident radiation;
- and
- a detection circuit for detecting the signals outputted from said array, said detection circuit comprising first IC chips provided on one side of said array and second IC chips provided on the other side of said array opposed to the one side, wherein said first and second IC chips are constructed to be driven bi-directionally and have the same circuit structure respectively,
- wherein driving directions of said first and second IC chips are set in accordance with input of a first common input signal into said first IC chips and input of a second common input signal into said second IC chips, so that the first and second IC chips detect the signals outputted from the array in the same direction.
