A melt processed film comprising a polymer having several acrylic components.

A melt processed film, comprising two polymer components wherein the first component comprises a C1-C6 alkyl acrylate (co)polymer with a Tg between 60 and 120° C., and the second component comprises a C1 to C12 (alkyl)acrylate (co)polymer with a Tg less than 10° C., wherein the gram weight ratio of the first polymer component to the second polymer component is less than 0.85, wherein the swell ratio of the film is at least 15, and wherein one of the polymer components is polymerized in the presence of the other, and wherein the film is formed by melt processing of the polymer components.
A melt processed transparent or light diffusing film, comprising two polymer components wherein the first component comprises a C1-C6 alkyl acrylate (co)polymer with a Tg between 60 and 120° C., and the second component comprises a C1 to C12 (alkyl)acrylate (co)polymer with a Tg less than 10° C., wherein the gram weight ratio of the first polymer component to the second polymer component is less than 0.85, wherein the swell ratio of the film is at least 15, and wherein one of the polymer components is polymerized in the presence of the other, and wherein the polymer components comprise less than 5 weight percent, based on the total weight of the polymer components, of crosslinking monomer.
