Red colour filter composition

A composition comprising

• (a) a colourant of formula
• wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 are, each independently of the others, H, Cl, Br, CN, CF3, R5, OR5, SR5, SOR5, SO2R5, NR6COR5, COOR6, CONR5R6, CONH2 or CON(R7),
• R5, in each case independently of any other R5, is C1-C6alkyl, C2-C5alkylene, phenyl or 2-naphthyl,
• R6, in each case independently of any other R6, is H, C1-C5alkyl or C2-C5alkylene, and
• R7, in each case independently of any other R7, is C4-C6alkylene which is uninterrupted or interrupted one or more times by NR6, NOR6, O, S, SO and/or by SO2 or R7 in N(R7) forming with N a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic ring,
• or a mixture, mixed crystal or solid solution thereof,
• with the proviso that, based on the total colourant of formula (I) or mixture, mixed crystal or solid solution thereof, from 20 to 100 mol % R1 are Br and from 80 to 100 mol % R3 are H;
• (b) from 3 to 150% by weight, based on (a), of a colourant of formula
• or of a mixture of two or more thereof;
• (c) from 3 to 25% by weight, based on (a), of a colourant of formula
• or of a mixture of colourants of formula (IIIa), (IIIb), (IIIc), (IIId), (IIIe), (IIIf), (IIIg) and/or (IIIh),
• wherein Q is a chromophore radical selected from unsubstituted or substituted 3,6-diphenyl-2,5-dihydropyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrrole-1,4-dione, 4,4′-diamino-1,1′-bisanthraquinone, perylenetetracarboxylic acid dianhydride, perylenetetracarboxylic acid diimide, quinacridone, 6,13-dihydroquinacridone and quinacridonequinone radicals,
• A is C1-C6alkylene,
• m is the number 1 or 2, and
• R8, R9, R10 and R11 are, each independently of the others, H, halogen, C1-C18alkyl which is unsubstituted or substituted one or more times by halogen, C1-C6alkoxy and/or by di(C1-C6alkyl)amino, or C6-C12aryl which is unsubstituted or substituted one or more times by halogen, NO2, C1-C12alkyl, C1-C6alkoxy and/or by di(C1-C6alkyl)amino, it being optionally possible for R8 and R9 and/or R9 and R10 to be connected by a bond so that further alicyclic, aromatic or heterocyclic rings are formed;
• (d) from 0 to 10% by weight, based on the sum of (a) and (b), of a colourant of formula
• or of a mixture of colourants of formula (IV), (IVa), (IVb), (IVc), (IVd), (IVe), (IVf), (IVg) and/or (IVh),
• wherein A, m, R8, R9, R10 and R11 are as defined in the case of (c), Q′ is as defined for Q in the case of (c) but is independent of the meaning of Q, n is a number 1 or 2, and M is H, an alkali metal, alkaline earth metal, ammonium or primary, secondary, tertiary or quaternary ammonium;
• and
• (e) from 3 to 25% by weight, based on (a), of a colourant of formula
• wherein
• R12 is R1 or Aa-[-NH—]n—Xx—[—CH2—]c[—Y—Z-]z-G and
• R13 is R3, Aa-[-NH—]n—Xx—[—CH2—]c[—Y—Z-]z-G, but R12 and R13 are not both Aa-[-NH—]n—Xx—[—CH2—]c[—Y—Z-]z-G,
• either R14 is R2 and at the same time R15 is Aa-[-NH—]n—Xx—[—CH2—]c[—Y—Z-]z-G, or R14 is Aa-[-NH—]n—Xx—[—CH2—]c[—Y—Z-]z-G and at the same time R15 is R4,
• R16 and R17 are, each independently of the other, a direct bond, 1,3-phenylene or 1,4-phenylene,
• R18 and R19 are H or, when R16 is 1,3-phenylene or 1,4-phenylene, R18 is H or Aa-[-NH—]n—Xx—[—CH2—]c[—Y—Z-]z-G, and, when R17 is 1,3-phenylene or 1,4-phenylene, R19 is H or Aa-[-NH—]n—Xx—[—CH2—]c[—Y—Z-]z-G,
• A is C1-C4alkylene, and a is 0 or 1,
• c is a whole number from 0 to 6,
• G is NR5R6, N(R7), NR6—NR5R6 or NR6—N(R7),
• n is 0, 1 or 2,
• X is carbonyl or sulfonyl and x is 0 or 1,
• Y, in each case independently of any other Y, is O, S or NR6
• Z, in each case independently of any other Z, is C2-C8alkylene, 1,2-propylene, 1,3-propylene, 1,4-butylene or 1,6-hexylene,
• z is 0 or a number from 1 to 3,
• with the proviso that the sum of a, n, x and z is at least 1,
• and R1, R2, R5, R6 and R7 are as defined for formula (I) but independent of formula (I), or of a mixture of colourants of formula (V).
