Abstract
The present invention relates to organo-arsenoxide compounds and to methods for their synthesis. The invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising these compounds and to their use in the treatment of diseases and disorders, in particular proliferative diseases and disorders, including treatment of solid tumors and leukaemia.

A compound of general formula (I):
- wherein
- the As(OH)2 group is para- to the N-atom on the phenyl ring;
- R1 is selected from hydrogen and C1-3 alkyl;
- R2 and R3 may be the same or different and are independently selected from hydrogen and optionally substituted C1-3 alkyl;
- R4 and R5 may be the same or different and are independently selected from hydrogen and optionally substituted C1-3 alkyl;
- m is 1;
- n is 1;
- * indicates a chiral carbon atom;
- and
- wherein each optional substituent is independently C1-3 alkyl, C1-3 alkoxy, halo, hydroxyl, or hydroxy(C1-3)alkyl;
- or a salt thereof, or an enantiomer or racemate thereof.
