• generating, by an electronic service guide system, electronic service guide broadcasting data according to system configuration data, and sending the electronic service guide broadcasting data to a multiplexer via an interface, wherein the system configuration data comprises multiplex service identifier, IP and port and connection manner for connecting the multiplexer, segment data length and data type indicator, wherein parameters of the interface comprise an electronic service guide broadcasting data entity, data type, data length, and service ID;
• receiving and multiplexing, by the multiplexer, the electronic service guide broadcasting data, and transmitting the multiplexed electronic service guide broadcasting data to a modulation emitter;
• and
• the modulation emitter receiving the multiplexed electronic service guide broadcasting data, modulating the data, and transmitting the modulated data to user terminal;
• wherein sending the electronic service guide broadcasting data further comprises:
• the electronic service guide system receiving a request used to indicate scheduling sending, and reading in the system configuration data and the electronic service guide broadcasting data;
• and the electronic service guide system, according to the data type and the segment data length, segmenting the electronic service guide broadcasting data and packaging it into units, establishing the connection to the multiplexer, and sending the electronic service guide broadcasting data.
