Abstract
A computer-implemented method includes generating on a user terminal a merchant web site associated with a merchant with code for a merchant web page, transmitting a product selection request for the user to a remote open payment system that is separate from the merchant, and displaying purchase information responsive to the product selection request using the code for the merchant web page.
Claims22
A computer-implemented method, comprising:
- generating, on a user device, a first merchant web page that is associated with a first merchant and a visual representation of one or more items selected by a user of the user device for purchase from the first merchant web page;
- transmitting, in response to the user selecting the one or more items for purchase from the first merchant web page, a product selection request for the user of the user device to a remote open payment system that is separate from the first merchant and that supports payments made from a plurality of different merchants;
- displaying, in a single window, purchase information responsive to the product selection request and the visual representation of one or more items selected by the user without refreshing the single window.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing software comprising instructions executable by one or more computers which, upon such execution, cause the one or more computers to perform operations comprising:
- generating, on a user device, a representation of items selected by a user for purchase, the representation arranged to be displayed with a first merchant web page that is associated with a first merchant;
- receiving from an open payment system, that is separate from the first merchant and arranged to support a plurality of different merchants, an indication that the user has selected a product from the first merchant web page;
- and
- displaying, in a single window, purchase information responsive to the product selection request and the visual representation of one or more items selected by the user without refreshing the single window.
A system, comprising:
- one or more computers and one or more storage devices storing instructions that are operable, when executed by the one or more computers, to cause the one or more computers to perform operations comprising:
- generating, on a user device, a representation of items selected by a user for purchase, the representation arranged to be displayed with a first merchant web page that is associated with a first merchant;
- receiving from an open payment system, that is separate from the first merchant and arranged to support a plurality of different merchants, an indication that the user has selected a product from the first merchant web page;
- and
- displaying, in a single window, purchase information responsive to the product selection request and the visual representation of one or more items selected by the user without refreshing the single window.
