Abstract
A radio communication apparatus having a first antenna and a second antenna, includes an interference estimation unit configured to estimate, using a signal of a second frequency band received by the second antenna, an interference component in the second frequency band contained in a signal of a first frequency band, and an interference removing unit configured to remove, based on information on the interference component estimated by the interference estimation unit, the interference component in the second frequency band contained in the signal of the first frequency band received by the first antenna.
Claims8
A radio communication apparatus that receives a first signal of a first communication system to which a first frequency band is allocated and a second signal of a second communication system to which a second frequency band, different from the first frequency band, is allocated, the radio communication apparatus comprising:
- a first receiver that processes a first signal of the first frequency band received by a first antenna;
- a second receiver that processes a second signal of the second frequency band and a third signal of a third frequency band, adjacent to the second frequency band, received by a second antenna;
- an interference estimation unit that estimates an interference component based on a nonlinear distortion component of the second signal of the second frequency band;
- an inverter that inverts the interference component estimated by the interference estimation unit into an inverse phase of the interference component;
- and
- an adder circuit that adds the inverse phase of the interference component to the first signal of the first frequency band processed by the first receiver, wherein
- nonlinear distortion is caused in modulation by a transmitting apparatus that transmits the second signal of the second frequency band.
An interference removing method for a radio communication apparatus that receives a first signal of a first communication system to which a first frequency band is allocated and a second signal of a second communication system to which a second frequency band, different from the first frequency band, is allocated, the interference removing method comprising:
- processing, by a first receiver, a first signal of the first frequency band received by a first antenna;
- processing, by a second receiver, a second signal of the second frequency band and a third signal of a third frequency band, adjacent to the second frequency band, received by a second antenna;
- estimating an interference component based on a nonlinear distortion component of the second signal of the second frequency band;
- inverting the estimated interference component into an inverse phase of the interference component;
- and
- adding the inverse phase of the interference component to the signal of the first frequency band processed by the first receiver, wherein
- nonlinear distortion is caused in modulation by a transmitting apparatus that transmits the second signal of the second frequency band.
An automotive vehicle including a radio communication apparatus that receives a first signal of a first communication system to which a first frequency band is allocated and a second signal of a second communication system to which a second frequency band, different from the first frequency band, is allocated, the automotive vehicle comprising:
- a first receiver that processes a first signal of the first frequency band received by a first antenna;
- a second receiver that processes a second signal of the second frequency band and a third signal of a third frequency band, adjacent to the second frequency band, received by a second antenna;
- an interference estimation unit that estimates an interference component based on a nonlinear distortion component of the second signal of the second frequency band;
- an inverter that inverts the interference component estimated by the interference estimation unit into an inverse phase of the interference component;
- and
- an adder circuit that adds the inverse phase of the interference component to the signal of the first frequency band processed by the first receiver, wherein
- nonlinear distortion is caused in modulation by a transmitting apparatus that transmits the second signal of the second frequency band.
