Abstract
A method for processing an audio signal is disclosed. The present invention includes obtaining a plural-channel audio signal including a speech component signal and other component signals, obtaining gain of the audio signal, obtaining modification strength parameter determining the strength of the modification of the speech component signal, modifying the gain based on the modification strength parameter, and modifying the speech component signal based on the modified gain.
Claims8
A method for processing an audio signal, the method comprising:
- obtaining, at an audio decoding apparatus, a plural-channel audio signal including a speech component signal and other component signals;
- obtaining, at the audio decoding apparatus, a gain value of the audio signal;
- determining, at the audio decoding apparatus, whether the audio signal is an inverse-phase mono signal including a left and right channel whose phase is inverted;
- inverting, at the audio decoding apparatus, a phase of the obtained gain value corresponding to one channel of the audio signal when the audio signal is the inverse-phase mono signal;
- obtaining, at the audio decoding apparatus, a modification strength parameter determining a strength of a modification of the speech component signal;
- modifying, at the audio decoding apparatus, the phase inverted gain value based on the modification strength parameter;
- and
- modifying, at the audio decoding apparatus, the speech component signal based on the modified gain.
