Systems and methods for multi-channel network information collection

A method comprising:

• receiving a first problem report from a first network device in a first network;
• receiving a second problem report from a second network device in a second network;
• receiving reconfiguration information from a third network device in a third network;
• storing event data included in the first and second problem reports;
• determining whether the event data included in the first and second problem reports is associated with the reconfiguration information;
• transmitting at least one of the first problem report or the second problem report to the third network device when the reconfiguration information is not associated with the event data included in the first problem report or the second problem report;
• and
• transmitting the reconfiguration information to at least one of the first network device or the second network device when the reconfiguration information is associated with the event data included in the first problem report or the second problem report.

A network device comprising:

• a processor to:
• receive problem reports from a plurality of downstream network devices;
• identify events included in the problem reports;
• receive reconfiguration information from an upstream network device;
• transmit the reconfiguration information to a downstream network device when the reconfiguration information is associated with an identified event;
• and
• transmit at least one of the problem reports to the upstream network device when the reconfiguration information associated is unassociated with the identified events.
