Camera device, and method and program for supporting focus adjustment

A focus adjustment assisting method comprising:

• determining a correct focus position on the basis of a parameter relating to a focus state calculated from a captured camera image, the correct focus position being a target position of focus adjustment;
• controlling, when a focus adjustment member is rotated relative to a base member during focus adjustment, friction torque of the focus adjustment member applied to the base member so that a maximum friction torque is applied in the correct focus position;
• and
• controlling the friction torque so that a friction torque change rate in a range from a position in which focus adjustment is restarted after the correct focus position has been passed to the correct focus position is greater than a friction torque change rate in a range from a start position of the focus adjustment to the correct focus position.

A focus adjustment assisting program which is recorded in a computer-readable storage device and causes a computer to execute the processes of:

• determining a correct focus position on the basis of a parameter relating to a focus state calculated from a captured camera image, the correct focus position being a target position of focus adjustment;
• controlling, when a focus adjustment member is rotated relative to a base member during focus adjustment, friction torque of the focus adjustment member applied to the base member so that a maximum friction torque is applied in the correct focus position;
• and
• controlling the friction torque so that a friction torque change rate in a range from a position in which focus adjustment is restarted after the correct focus position has been passed to the correct focus position is greater than a friction torque change rate in a range from a start position of the focus adjustment to the correct focus position.
