Light emitting device and electronic device utilizing fibrous barrier layers impregnated with organic resin

A light emitting device comprising:

• a first structure body;
• a second structure body;
• a first insulating layer comprising an inorganic compound;
• a second insulating layer comprising an inorganic compound;
• an element portion including a light emitting element and a thin film transistor,
• a first impact relief layer;
• and
• a second impact relief layer,
• wherein the first insulating layer is provided between the element portion and the first structure body, and the second insulating layer is provided between the element portion and the second structure body,
• wherein the first insulating layer and the second insulating layer are in contact with each other at an end of the element portion,
• wherein each of the first structure body and the second structure body includes a fibrous body impregnated with an organic resin,
• wherein the organic resin of the first structure body and the organic resin of the second structure body are in contact with each other and fixed to each other at an end of the first insulating layer and the second insulating layer,
• wherein the first impact relief layer is provided between the first insulating layer and the first structure body, and
• wherein the second impact relief layer is provided between the second insulating layer and the second structure body.
