Abstract
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to a heterocyclic compound and an organic light-emitting device including the heterocyclic compound. The organic light-emitting devices using the heterocyclic compounds have high-efficiency, low driving voltage, high luminance and long lifespan.
Claims17
A heterocyclic compound comprising a compound represented by Formula 1 below:
- wherein each of R1 through R11 is independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen atoms, heavy hydrogen atoms, substituted and unsubstituted C1-C50 alkyl groups, substituted and unsubstituted C3-C50 cycloalkyl groups, substituted and unsubstituted C1-C50 alkoxy groups, substituted and unsubstituted C5-C50 aryloxy groups, substituted and unsubstituted C5-C50 arylthio groups, substituted and unsubstituted C5-C60 aryl groups, amino groups substituted with at least one C5-C60 aryl group, substituted and unsubstituted C4-C60 heteroaryl groups, substituted and unsubstituted C6-C60 condensed polycyclic groups, halogen atoms, cyano groups, nitro groups, hydroxyl groups, and carboxyl groups, wherein;
- R9 is selected from the group consisting of:
- unsubstituted monocyclic to tetracyclic aryl groups selected from the group consisting of phenyl groups, naphthyl groups, biphenyl groups, terphenyl groups, anthracenyl groups, fluorenyl groups, carbazolyl groups, and pyrenyl groups;
- unsubstituted C4-C60 heteroaryl groups;
- unsubstituted C5-C50 arylamine groups;
- substituted monocyclic to tetracyclic aryl groups selected from the group consisting of phenyl groups, naphthyl groups, biphenyl groups, terphenyl groups, anthracenyl groups, fluorenyl groups, carbazolyl groups, and pyrenyl groups substituted with at least one substituent selected from the group consisting of C1-C5 alkyl groups, C1-C5 alkoxy groups, cyano groups, amine groups, phenoxy groups, phenyl groups, and halogen groups;
- substituted C4-C60 heteroaryl groups substituted with at least one substituent selected from the group consisting of C1-C5 alkyl groups, C1-C5 alkoxy groups, cyano groups, amine groups, phenoxy groups, phenyl groups, halogen groups, and C5-C10 heteroaryl groups;
- and
- substituted C5-C50 arylamine groups substituted with at least one substituent selected from the group consisting of C1-C5 alkyl groups, C1-C5 alkoxy groups, cyano groups, amine groups, phenoxy groups, phenyl groups, and halogen groups,
- wherein two or more adjacent substituents selected from R1 through R11 may optionally combine to form an aromatic ring.
