Abstract
Acrylic polymers comprising vinyl acetate monomers, hydroxyl functional monomers and low Tg alkyl acrylate monomers are useful in adhesive compositions that find use in skin contact applications.
Claims11
A pressure sensitive adhesive composition comprising an acrylic polymer and a therapeutic agent, wherein the acrylic polymer comprises from about 50 to about 65 wt % of vinyl acetate, from about 10 to about 20 wt % of hydroxyethyl acrylate and from 10 to 40 wt % of 2-ethyl hexyl acrylate, wherein the acrylic polymer has a Tg at or greater than −20° C.
A pressure sensitive adhesive composition comprising an acrylic polymer and a therapeutic agent, wherein the acrylic polymer comprises about 50 wt % vinyl acetate monomers, about 10 wt % hydroxyethyl acrylate monomers and about 40 wt % of 2-ethyl hexyl acrylate monomers and, wherein the acrylic polymer has a Tg greater than about −20° C.
