Abstract
Five novel plant transcription terminators MYB2, KTI1, PIP1, EF1A2, and MTH1 are isolated from soybean and their functions in the regulation of RNA transcription and processing in plants are described.

An isolated polynucleotide comprising:
- a) a nucleotide sequence comprising the sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:2;
- b) a nucleotide sequence comprising a sequence having at least 95% sequence identity, based on the BLASTN method of alignment, when compared to the nucleotide sequence of (a);
- or
- c) the nucleotide sequence complementary to (a) or (b);
- wherein said nucleotide sequence functions as a terminator.
