Abstract
The claimed invention relates to a process for preparing (meth)acrylates of N-hydroxyalkylated amides, in which open-chain N-hydroxyalkylated amides are esterified with (meth)acrylic acid or transesterified with at least one (meth)acrylic ester in the presence of at least one heterogeneous catalyst selected from the group consisting of an inorganic salt and an enzyme.

A process for preparing a (meth)acrylate of an N-hydroxyalkylated amide, comprising transesterifying a cyclic N-hydroxyalkylated amide (C)
- with at least one (meth)acrylic ester (D) in the presence of at least one of potassium phosphate and potassium carbonate,
- where
- Z1 is un- or monosubstituted nitrogen (N—R3),
- R1 and R2 are each independently C2-C20-alkylene,
- and
- R3, is hydrogen.
