Abstract
The present invention relates to hair treatment compositions and methods. More particularly, the invention relates to hair treatment compositions comprising lipids and creatine. The hair treatment compositions of the present invention may be used to improve the tensile properties of hair, such as hair elasticity and strength.
Claims9
A hair treatment composition formulated as a shampoo, a conditioner, or combinations thereof, wherein the composition comprises (i) 1% creatine and 1% lipid;
- (ii) 1% creatine and 2% lipid;
- or (iii) 0.05% creatine and 0.05% lipid, by weight relative to the total weight of the composition.
A hair treatment composition made by a process, which comprises combining (i) 1% creatine and 1% lipid;
- (ii) 1% creatine and 2% lipid;
- or (iii) 0.05% creatine and 0.05% lipid, by weight relative to the total weight of the composition to form the composition, wherein the hair treatment composition is formulated as a shampoo, a conditioner, or combinations thereof.
