Abstract
Disclosed is a sensitive glass for use in a pH-sensitive glass electrode, which comprises at least Me2O3 (Me represents a lanthanoid) and further comprises Y2O3 or Sc2O3 in an amount smaller than that of the Me2O3. Also disclosed is a sensitive glass for use in a cation-sensitive glass electrode, which comprises at least Y2O3 or Sc2O3.

A pH electrode, comprising an ion sensitive glass comprising at least Li2O and Me2O3 (wherein Me represents a lanthanoid) and further comprising Y2O3 or Sc2O3 in an amount smaller than that of the Me2O3.
A pNa electrode, comprising an ion sensitive glass comprising at least either Na2O or Li2O and Sc2O3.
A pNH4 electrode, comprising an ion sensitive glass comprising at least either Na2O or Li2O and Sc2O3.
A pH electrode, comprising an ion sensitive glass comprising at least Li2O and Sc2O3.
A pH electrode, comprising:
- an ion sensitive glass comprising at least Li2O and Me2O3 (wherein Me represents a lanthanoid) and further comprising Sc2O3 in an amount smaller than that of the Me2O3.
A pH electrode, comprising:
- an ion sensitive glass comprising at least Li2O and La2O3 of 2˜10 mol % and further comprising Y2O3 in an amount smaller than that of the La2O3.
A pNa or pNH4 electrode, comprising an ion sensitive glass comprising at least either Na2O or Li2O and La2O3 of 2˜10 mol % and further comprising Y2O3 in an amount smaller than that of the La2O3.
