Abstract
The invention relates to controlling the formation of water in a reaction system comprising hydrogen, oxygen and atomic hydrogen by irradiating the reaction system with electromagnetic emissions from a platinum lamp such that the atomic hydrogen is direct resonance targeted. Physical platinum may also be present in the reaction system.

A method for controlling a water formation reaction system comprising:
- direct resonance targeting atomic hydrogen in a reaction system comprising hydrogen, oxygen and atomic hydrogen, said direct resonance targeting of said atomic hydrogen occurring with electromagnetic emissions from a platinum lamp.
A method for increasing the rate of a water formation reaction comprising:
- irradiating a reaction system comprising hydrogen, oxygen and atomic hydrogen with a spectral energy catalyst, said spectral energy catalyst consisting of platinum electromagnetic emissions.
A method for increasing the rate of a water formation reaction comprising:
- direct resonance targeting atomic hydrogen in a reaction system comprising hydrogen, oxygen and atomic hydrogen, said direct resonance targeting of said atomic hydrogen occurring by irradiating said reaction system with a spectral energy catalyst consisting of platinum electromagnetic emissions.
A method for controlling a water formation reaction system comprising:
- forming a reaction system comprising hydrogen, oxygen, atomic hydrogen and physical platinum;
- and
- direct resonance targeting said atomic hydrogen with electromagnetic emissions from a platinum lamp.
A method for increasing the rate of a water formation reaction comprising:
- forming a reaction system comprising hydrogen, oxygen, atomic hydrogen and physical platinum;
- providing a spectral energy catalyst consisting of platinum electromagnetic emissions;
- and
- irradiating said reaction system with said spectral energy catalyst.
