Fluid flow control members for use with valves

A poppet for use with a valve, comprising:

• a first body having a first seating surface to sealingly engage a second body of the valve, wherein the first body defines:
• a second seating surface opposite the first seating surface to sealingly engage a plug of the valve;
• an aperture to receive a stem of the valve;
• at least one fluid flow channel through the first body to fluidly couple a chamber of the valve to another chamber, wherein the at least one fluid flow channel has an opening positioned between the aperture and the second seating surface;
• a sliding member having an exterior surface to slidably and sealingly engage a bore defined by the first body, wherein the bore is coaxially aligned with the aperture and surrounded by the first seating surface;
• and
• a plate coupled to the first body to position the sliding member within the bore.

A fluid flow control member for use with a valve, comprising:

• a body having a first seating surface to control a flow of fluid through the valve, wherein the body defines:
• a second seating surface opposite the first seating surface to control a flow of fluid through the valve;
• an aperture to receive a stem of the valve;
• and
• a bore surrounded by the first seating surface to receive at least one of a seal or a sliding member each of which have a first surface to be engaged by a second surface of a spring seat coupled to the stem to control a fluid flow through the valve.

An internal valve for controlling a fluid flow, comprising:

• a valve body;
• a poppet having first and second opposing seating surfaces to control fluid flow through the internal valve, the first seating surface to sealingly engage the valve body, the second seating surface to sealingly engage a plug;
• a passage through the poppet to decrease a time required to equalize a fluid pressure across the internal valve;
• and
• an aperture to receive a stem of the internal valve, the stem comprising a surface to substantially prevent fluid flow through the passage when the first seating surface sealingly engages the valve body and the plug is in a fully open position.
