Abstract
The invention provides for ethylene copolymers having a polymodal CD, wherein under temperature rising elution fractionation (TREF) analysis the ethylene copolymers evidence at least two peaks.
Claims16
An ethylene copolymer having a polymodal CD, wherein under temperature rising elution fractionation (TREF) analysis the ethylene copolymer evidences at least two peaks and wherein the ethylene copolymer has an I21/I2 value of from 15 to 100 and the ethylene copolymer is produced by polymerizing ethylene in the presence of a hafnium metallocene catalyst compound and the ethylene copolymer comprises less than about 0.01 ppm to about 5 ppm hafnium.
An ethylene copolymer having a polymodal CD,
- wherein the ethylene copolymer is produced in a single reactor by polymerizing ethylene in the presence of a hafnium metallocene catalyst compound;
- wherein under temperature rising elution fractionation (TREF) analysis the ethylene copolymer evidences at least two peaks;
- wherein the ethylene copolymer has an Mw/Mn of from about 2.5 to about 7;
- wherein the ethylene copolymer has a density of from 0.905 to 0.95 g/cc;
- wherein the ethylene copolymer has a an I21/I2 value of from 15 to 100;
- wherein the ethylene copolymer exhibits a low-temperature peak position at about 65° C. under temperature rising elution fractionation (TREF) analysis;
- wherein the ethylene copolymer exhibits a peak separation between the low-temperature and high-temperature peaks of a minimum of about 20° C. and a maximum of about 35° C. under temperature rising elution fractionation (TREF) analysis;
- wherein the ethylene copolymer exhibits low-temperature peak ranges from about 30 mole % and the high-temperature peak is about 70 mole % under temperature rising elution fractionation (TREF) analysis;
- and
- wherein the ethylene copolymer comprises about 0.01 ppm to about 2 ppm hafnium.
