Abstract
The present inventors discovered that oligonucleotides which suppress midkine expression and antibodies which suppress midkine activity can be used to prevent post-surgical intraperitoneal adhesions.
Claims7
A method of preventing post-laparotomy adhesions in a laparotomy subject by administering to said subject a compound which suppresses midkine protein function, which compound is a midkine-binding antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof.
