A compound containing organofluorochlorophosphate anions, of formula (I)
- [Kt]z+z[(CnHmF2n+1-m)xPClyF6-x-y]− (I)
- in which [Kt]z+ denotes an inorganic or organic cation, where n=1-12, m=0 to 2n+1, x=1-4, y=1-4, z=1-4 and with the proviso that x+y is ≦5.
