A mobile apparatus enabled for chattel forwarding, comprising:
- a processor;
- memory in data communication with said processor;
- a location information apparatus configured to generate information related to a current location of said mobile apparatus;
- a user interface from which a user selects at least one destination from among a plurality of destinations comprising:
- a location identified based at least in part on said information related to said current location of said mobile apparatus;
- and
- a location based on a pre-stored address associated with said user;
- and
- a client process operative to run on said processor, said client process comprising a plurality of instructions which are configured to, when executed, encode and transmit user-specific information;
- wherein said user-specific information comprises information that identifies chattel and a request to have said chattel forwarded from a first location to said selected destination.
A mobile apparatus, comprising:
- a processor;
- memory in data communication with said processor;
- a user interface configured to receive a selection of one or more items from a user;
- a global positioning system (GPS) receiver configured to generate information related to a current location of said mobile apparatus;
- and
- a software process operative to run on said processor, said process comprising a plurality of instructions which are configured to, when executed, encode and transmit a message, said message being based on said selection and said information related to said current location;
- wherein said message causes creation of a shipment of said one or more items for said user from a first location to said current location by a third party.
A mobile apparatus enabled for chattel management, comprising:
- a processor;
- memory in data communication with said processor;
- a location information apparatus configured to generate information related to a current location of said mobile apparatus;
- a user interface from which a user selects at least one destination from among a plurality of destinations comprising:
- a location identified based at least in part on said information related to said current location of said mobile apparatus;
- and
- a location based on a pre-stored address associated with said user;
- and
- a client process operative to run on said processor, said client process comprising a plurality of instructions which are configured to, when executed, encode and transmit user-specific information;
- wherein said user-specific information comprises both information that identifies chattel, and a request to have said chattel forwarded from a first location to said selected destination.
A mobile apparatus, comprising:
- a processor;
- memory in data communication with said processor;
- a user interface configured to receive a selection of one or more items from a user;
- a global positioning system (UPS) receiver configured to generate information related to a current location of said mobile;
- and
- a software process operative to run on said processor, said process comprising a plurality of instructions which are configured to, when executed, encode and transmit a message, said message being based on said selection and said information related to said current location;
- wherein said message causes a shipment by a third party of said one or more items for said user from a first location to said current location.
