Rapid deglycosylation of glycoproteins

A method of releasing glycans from a glycoprotein, consisting essentially of, in the following order,

• (a) contacting said glycoprotein with a solution comprising a denaturing reagent, for a time sufficient to denature said glycoprotein;
• (b) immobilizing said glycoprotein on a material that binds protein;
• and,
• (c) incubating said immobilized glycoprotein with a deglycosylation enzyme, thereby releasing said glycans from said glycoprotein.
