Abstract
The invention relates to siNA compositions and methods for the treatment of eye conditions wherein the siNA compound capable of inhibiting the expression of 11 beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase (11 beta-HSD1).
Claims13
A method of treating an eye condition characterized by increased intra-ocular pressure (IOP), said method comprising topically administering to the corneal surface of the eye of a patient in need thereof a short interfering nucleic acid (siNA) molecule that downregulates expression of 11betahydroxysteroid dehydrogenase 1 (11beta-HSD1) in the eye.
