Abstract
Methods, compositions and kits are disclosed directed at levetiracetam derivatives, immunogens, signal generating moieties, antibodies that bind levetiracetam and immunoassays for detection of levetiracetam.
Claims29
A composition comprising an isolated antibody that binds an epitope present in levetiracetam and present in a compound of Formula 1:
- wherein R1 is —Y—Z, wherein Y is a linking group and Z is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, —OH, —SH, —S-acyl;
- —O-lower alkyl, halogen, NH2, -epoxy, -maleimidyl, haloacetamide, carboxyl, hydroxysuccinimidyl, -succinimidyl, -carbonate, anhydride, imidate, an immunogenic carrier, a protein, a label, and including acid salts thereof;
- wherein the antibody does not detectably bind to 2-pyrrolidone-N-butyric acid.
