An inducible siRNA system for controlling expression of an siRNA molecule comprising operatively and contiguously linked in the 5′ to 3′ direction an inducible element, a minimal heat shock promoter, a nucleic acid sequence encoding an siRNA molecule and a minimal polyA sequence, wherein the inducible element is a viral specific transcription factor and wherein the siRNA molecule is produced only in the presence of an inducer which is specific for the inducible element.
An inducible siRNA system for controlling expression of an siRNA molecule comprising operatively and contiguously linked in the 5′ to 3′ direction an inducible element, a cis acting regulatory element from a promoter, a minimal heat shock promoter, a nucleic acid sequence encoding an siRNA molecule and a minimal polyA sequence, wherein the inducible element is a viral specific transcription factor and wherein the siRNA molecule is produced only in the presence of an inducer which is specific for the inducible element.
