The disclosure provides compounds of formula I, including their salts, as well as compositions and methods of using the compounds. The compounds have activity against hepatitis C virus (HCV) and are useful in treating those infected with HCV. I.

A compound of formula I
- where:
- R1 is CO2R8 or CONR9R10;
- R2 is hydrogen, alkyl, aminoalkyl, alkylaminoalkyl, or dialkylaminoalkyl;
- R3 is hydrogen, alkyl, aminoalkyl, alkylaminoalkyl, or dialkylaminoalkyl;
- or NR2R3 taken together is azetidinyl, pyrrolidinyl, piperidinyl, piperazinyl, N-(alkyl)piperazinyl, morpholinyl, thiomorpholinyl, homopiperidinyl, or homomorpholinyl, and is substituted with 0-3 alkyl substituents;
- or NR2R3 taken together is
- R4 is hydrogen or alkyl;
- R5 is hydrogen or alkyl;
- or R4 and R5 taken together is oxo;
- R6 is hydrogen, halo, alkyl, alkenyl, hydroxy, benzyloxy, or alkoxy;
- R7 is cycloalkyl;
- R8 is hydrogen or alkyl;
- R9 is hydrogen, alkyl, alkylSO2, cycloalkylSO2, haloalkylSO2, (R11)(R12)NSO2, or (R13)SO2;
- R10 is hydrogen or alkyl;
- R11 is hydrogen or alkyl;
- R12 is hydrogen or alkyl;
- R13 is azetidinyl, pyrrolidinyl, piperidinyl, piperazinyl, N-(alkyl)piperazinyl, morpholinyl, thiomorpholinyl, homopiperidinyl, or homomorpholinyl;
- and
- R14 is hydrogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, (cycloalkyl)alkyl, alkylcarbonyl, cycloalkylcarbonyl, haloalkylcarbonyl, alkoxycarbonyl, alkylSOz, cycloalkylSO2, haloalkylSO2, aminocarbonyl, (alkylamino)carbonyl, (dialkylamino)carbonyl, benzyl, benzyloxycarbonyl, or pyridinyl;
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
