Multiantenna receiving device

A multi-antenna receiving apparatus that receives a plurality of modulated signals transmitted from a plurality of antennas at the same time, using a plurality of antennas, and reconstructs a data sequence associated with each modulated signal from the received signal, the multi-antenna receiving apparatus comprising:

• the first soft decision section that makes a soft decision on each modulated signal;
• a second soft decision section that makes a soft decision on each modulated signal using a different decision method than the first soft decision section;
• a signal point canceling section that reduces the number of candidate signal points used in the second soft decision section;
• a soft value combining section that combines the soft decision value obtained in the first soft decision section and the soft decision value obtained in the second soft decision section;
• and
• a decoding section that obtains digital data of the modulated signals using the combined soft decision value obtained in the soft value combining section.

A multi-antenna receiving apparatus that receives a plurality of modulated signals transmitted from a plurality of antennas at the same time, using a plurality of antennas, and reconstructs a data sequence associated with each modulated signal from the received signal, the multi-antenna receiving apparatus comprising:

• a demultiplexing section that demultiplexes the received signal, in said received signal the plurality of modulated signal being multiplexed, into individual modulated signals, by a linear calculation;
• a hard decision section that makes a hard decision on each demultiplexed modulated signal;
• a soft decision section that identifies the modulated signals based on signal point distances between a plurality of candidate signal points for the signal, in said signal the plurality of modulated signal being multiplexed, and a signal point of the received signal;
• and
• a signal point canceling section that reduces the number of candidate signal points used in the soft decision section, by using, recursively, part of the digital data of the modulated signals not including a modulated signal of interest, obtained in the hard decision section.

A multi-antenna transmitting apparatus comprising:

• a plurality of turbo coders that perform turbo coding of a plurality of transmission signals, using a same interleaving pattern;
• a plurality of rearrangement sections that have varying interleaving patterns and rearrange output signals from respective turbo coders;
• a plurality of modulation sections that modulate output signals from respective rearrangement sections and output modulated signals;
• and
• a plurality of radio sections that transmit a plurality of modulated signals obtained in the plurality of modulation sections at the same time, using antennas varying per modulated signal.

A multi-antenna receiving apparatus that receives a plurality of modulated signals, which is turbo-coded using a same interleaving pattern and rearranged using varying interleaving patterns and transmitted from a plurality of antennas at the same time, and reconstructs a data sequence associated with each modulated signal from the received signal, the multi-antenna receiving apparatus comprising:

• a demultiplexing section that demultiplexes the received signal, in said received signal the plurality of modulated signals being multiplexed, into individual modulated signals, by a linear calculation;
• a signal point canceling section that reduces the number of candidate signal points used in the soft decision section, by using, recursively, the received signal in which the plurality of modulated signals are multiplexed, and part of digital data of the modulated signals that has been decoded, not including a modulated signal of interest;
• a plurality of reverse rearrangement sections that rearrange the demultiplexed modulated signals and signals with reduced candidate signal points, using an interleaving pattern opposite to an interleaving pattern used upon a transmission;
• a soft decision section that identifies the modulated signals based on signal point distances between the rearranged modulated signals and the signals with reduced candidate signal points;
• a decoding section that obtains digital data of the modulated signals using decision results obtained in the soft decision section;
• and
• a plurality of rearrangement sections that rearrange the output digital data of the decoding section using a same interleaving pattern as the interleaving pattern used upon the transmission, and outputs the rearranged data to the soft decision section.
