Abstract
A cosmetic composition for caring for and/or making up the skin, lips and/or body in the form of a film, which is non-transferable, long-lasting with a comfortable feeling of use to consumers over long periods of wear time. The composition contains graftable POSS which forms a film when it cures in situ. The invention also relates to using such film for preparing a cosmetic composition and a makeup process and makeup kit comprising the product.
Claims10
A composition for application to mammalian keratinous material able to crosslink in-situ while leaving a film on said mammalian keratinous material, said composition comprising:
- a first part composition of a polymer and a cross-linking agent, and a second part composition of graftable particle dispersed in a cosmetic matrix, wherein the graftable particle comprises polyhedral oligomeric silsequioxanes (“POSS”) having a molecular formula RSiO1.5 in an amount from about 0.001% to about 50% by weight of the composition.
