Abstract
This invention provides a composition for forming a fabric by spraying onto a supporting surface, the composition comprising fibers, a binder and a diluent. Further aspects of the invention include the fabric formed by spraying the composition and an article comprising the fabric, an apparatus and a method for spraying the composition.
Claims20
A composition for forming a fabric by spraying onto a supporting surface, the composition before being sprayed comprising pre-spray fibers, a binder and a diluent in which the binder is dissolved and the pre-spray fibers are dispersed and wherein the diluent has a boiling point of not more than 70° C.;
- wherein the composition is sprayable and, upon being sprayed onto the supporting surface, forms the fabric, wherein the fabric comprises conjugated fibers that are longer than the pre-spray fibers from which the conjugated fibers were formed.
