Method of fabricating solid state gas dissociating device by laser doping

A method of fabricating a solid state gas dissociating/splitting device, comprising the steps of:

• providing a non-wide bandgap semiconductor;
• laser doping a non-wide bandgap semiconductor material first region to create a wide bandgap semiconductor;
• laser doping the wide bandgap semiconductor to create light emitting second region tuned in the electromagnetic spectrum range that dissociates carbon oxides and activates chemical catalysts;
• and
• laser doping a second region to create a chemical catalyst region that dissociates carbon oxides.

A method of fabricating a solid state gas dissociating/splitting device, comprising of the steps:

• providing a wide bandgap semiconductor;
• laser doping a first region of the wide bandgap semiconductor material to create a light emitting region tuned in the electromagnetic spectrum range that dissociates selected gases and activates chemical catalysts;
• and
• laser doping a second region to create a chemical catalyst region that dissociates selected gases.

A method of fabricating a solid state gas dissociating/splitting device, comprising of the steps:

• providing a wide bandgap semiconductor;
• laser doping a first region of the wide bandgap semiconductor material to create a light emitting region tuned in the electromagnetic spectrum range that dissociates carbon oxides and activates chemical catalysts;
• and
• laser doping the same first region with chemical catalyst that dissociates carbon oxides.

A method of fabricating a solid state gas dissociating/splitting device, comprising the steps of:

• providing a non-wide bandgap semiconductor;
• laser doping the non wide bandgap semiconductor material first region to create a wide bandgap semiconductor;
• laser doping the wide bandgap semiconductor to create light emitting second region tuned in the electromagnetic spectrum range that dissociates selected gases and activates chemical catalysts;
• and
• laser doping a second region to create a chemical catalyst region that dissociates selected gases.

A method of fabricating a solid state gas dissociating/splitting device, comprising of the steps:

• providing a wide bandgap semiconductor;
• laser doping a first region of the wide bandgap semiconductor material to create a light emitting region tuned in the electromagnetic spectrum range that dissociates selected gases and activates chemical catalysts;
• laser doping a second region to create a chemical catalyst region that dissociates selected gases;
• and
• laser doping a third region to create an energy conversion region that produces electricity from heat.
