A cover material for an absorbent article including a fibrous nonwoven substrate, the substrate having a tortuousity value in the range of about 0.8 to about 3.0, and a particulate skin care material including a particulate material having a particle size in the range of about 1 micron to about 75 microns.
Claims40
A cover material for an absorbent article comprising:
- a fibrous nonwoven substrate, said substrate having a tortuosity value in the range of about 0.8 to about 3.0;
- a particulate skin care material comprising a particulate material having a particle size in the range of about 1 micron to about 75 microns;
- and
- wherein the cover material is structured and arranged to retain the particulate skin care material during manufacture yet permit a transfer of the particulate skin care material to a body of a user during use of the absorbent article.

An absorbent article comprising:
- a liquid permeable cover;
- a liquid impermeable barrier;
- wherein said cover material comprises a fibrous nonwoven substrate, said substrate having a tortuosity value in the range of about 0.8 to about 3.0, a particulate skin care material comprising a particulate material having a particle size in the range of about 1 micron to about 75 microns;
- and
- wherein the cover material is structured and arranged to retain the particulate skin care material during manufacture yet permit a transfer of the particulate skin care material to a body of a user during use of the absorbent article.
