Abstract
A method for assembling an electric motor of the type having a stator unit (5) and a rotary unit (6) housed in a containment compartment (2a) delimited by a casing (2), includes exposing the compartment (2a) to a different pressure relative to the outside environment and checking for the passage of fluid between the outside environment and the compartment (2a) in order to test the motor (1) hermetic seal.

A method for assembling an electric motor having a casing having a container and a closing lid delimiting a containment compartment, the containment compartment containing an electromagnetic unit having a stator unit and a rotary unit, the method comprising:
- testing a hermetic seal of the motor by exposing the containment compartment to a different pressure relative to an outside environment;
- wherein exposing the containment compartment to a different pressure comprises putting the containment compartment in fluid communication with a pneumatic mechanism through an opening in the casing, the opening for connection of a cable to the power supply mechanism.
A method for assembling an electric motor having a casing having a container and a closing lid delimiting a containment compartment, the containment compartment containing an electromagnetic unit having a stator unit and a rotary unit, the method comprising:
- testing a hermetic seal of the motor by exposing the containment compartment to a different pressure relative to an outside environment;
- wherein exposing the containment compartment to a different pressure comprises sucking a gas out of the casing so that a pressure in the containment compartment is lower than in the outside environment.
