A process of making epothilone E comprising fermenting a strain of Sorangium cellulosum in the presence of a resin, wherein the epothilone E produced by the strain of Sorangium cellulosum is bound to the resin.
A process of making epothilone F comprising fermenting a strain of Sorangium cellulosum in the presence of a resin, wherein the epothilone F produced by the strain of Sorangium cellulosum is bound to the resin.
Epothilone E bound to a resin.
