Abstract
The present invention is related to the use of a non-cellulosic cationically modified polysaccharide in cleaning compositions and more particularly to a surfactant based cleansing composition comprising, a surfactant, a non-cellulosic cationically modified polysaccharide and a solvent for use in personal care composition, household care composition or an institutional care composition.
Claims44
A cleansing composition comprising, a surfactant, a polymer composition and a solvent wherein the polymer composition comprises a non-cellulosic cationically modified polysaccharide, wherein the cationic modification comprises a mixture of at least two quaternary ammonium groups having different combinations of alkyl, aryl, or aralkyl substituents, and wherein the quaternary ammonium groups are attached to the non-cellulosic polysaccharide via an ether or urethane linkage.
