Liquid projectile shooting device and game

A game comprising a board;

• at least two game pieces, each comprising a device for launching a liquid projectile, the device comprising a body, a fluid reservoir supported by the body, and a liquid projectile launching mechanism supported by the body and in fluid communication with the fluid reservoir, the launching mechanism comprising a piston moveable between a forward position and a rearward position, when the piston is moved in a rearward position, liquid from the fluid reservoir fills an intermediate cylinder, which is in fluid communication between the reservoir and an exit nozzle, a return spring moves the piston forward, closing the reservoir and launching the liquid projectile, wherein the device is free-standing, and the intermediate cylinder is dimensioned such that a metered amount of liquid from the reservoir enters and the liquid projectile is embodied as a single drop;
• and at least one target, the board comprising a protective wall behind which the game piece can be hidden during game play, the protective wall turning a different color upon being hit by a liquid projectile fired by a game piece.
