A collapsible book holder for holding a book in an open position, comprising
- a pair of opposed first and second sides,
- (a) the first side comprising a first short leg and a first long leg, each having first and second ends and being moveably connected at said first ends by a first side connector adapted to permit movement of said first legs from a position substantially alongside one another to a position forming a first angle of less than 90 degrees;
- (b) the second side comprising a second short leg and a second long leg, each having first and second ends and being moveably connected at said first ends by a second side connector adapted to permit movement of said second legs from a position substantially alongside one another to a position forming a second angle of less than 90 degrees;
- (c) a short leg connector connecting said second end of said first short leg to said second end of said second short leg which connector is adapted to permit movement of said first and second short legs from a position substantially alongside one another to a position forming a third angle of greater than 90 degrees;
- and
- (d) a long leg connector connecting said second end of said first long leg to said second end of said second long leg which connector is adapted to permit movement of said first and second long legs from a position substantially alongside one another to a position forming a fourth angle of greater than 90 degrees;
